I believe in doing well by doing good. I think that serving the interest of stakeholders – employees, communities and the broader public - is not only good business but imperative when making long term investment decisions.
Prior to Knightsgate Ventures, I worked in Investment Management as a portfolio manager for large institutions and endowments. Managing significant assets across multiple relationships, I studied and deployed capital across a number of different industries, structures and stages within the business lifecycle.
Stuart earned a BA in Economics and Corporate Strategy from Vanderbilt University and is currently pursuing his MBA in Corporate Finance with a focus on Venture Capital and Sustainable Strategy at The University of North Carolina’s Kenan Flagler Business School.
He is currently on the board of UNC’s Venture Capital Investment Competition, a global case competition for top business schools that allows students the opportunity to think like an investor, hear pitches from actual startups, and negotiate investment terms. He previously served as Sponsorship Chair on the Executive Board of the Shepherd Center Spinal Clinic.
